We gather online daily, Monday – Saturday. There are two types of chapel experiences, contemplative or guided, each following their own rhythm. Whatever faith community you belong to, whether you are spiritual but not religious, decide to participate regularly or occasionally, please know you are welcome. Chapel members come from across the country. Our online chapels are sacred spaces where we gather to encounter God through silence, prayer, and shared reflection.
Two Rhythms of Chapel
Contemplative Chapel Flow
These sessions typically follow this rhythm, drawing on practices such as Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina:
- A warm welcome and brief orientation for newcomers
- 20-minute shared silence
- A short spiritual reading or reflection
- Sacred sharing in a circle of trust
- Prayers of petition and a closing blessing
- Post-chapel conversation and connection
Guided Practice Chapel Flow
Guided practice chapels are gently led by an experienced host from start to finish. Participants remain off camera and simply follow along with the spoken prompts, allowing space for silence, reflection, and prayer. Even in silence, there’s a shared sense of presence and community—each person contributing to the experience through their quiet participation.
Guided Practice Chapels include Welcoming Prayer (15 minutes) and Loving Kindness meditations (30 minutes).
